To encourage organic vegetable gardening as a way of dealing with the growing food insecurity worldwide and for the young generation and family to engage in healthy eating and lifestyle, productive fun activities that provide children valuable experiences and basic survival skills towards sustainability.
To raise awareness on the importance of growing organic vegetables in one's own backyard, empty spaces, in a community or school vegetable garden that provides us with easy access to a constant supply of fresh vegetables, saving both time and money.

Maria Sherry Lacson Tan, Founder of Seeds of Hope Pinakbet International Inc. began her community advocacy on March 8th, 2018, when she was named the Seeds of Hope Ambassador of Goodwill. In April of 2018, in the Philippines, Maria Sherry Lacson Tan, sold Seeds of Hope Seed Packs during the Panaad Festival and an Agricultural Trade Show to raise funds for Home of Hope, an orphanage for abused and abandoned children. The funds raised established a vegetable garden for the children. Maria Sherry's dedication to community welfare inspired the expansion efforts of Seeds of Hope International Inc. to launch an "Adopt a School, Community/Barangay program" and A Global Community Garden & Food Outreach Program in Pakistan, Liberia, Zambia, Australia and the United States.
